- "Rambo" refers to the Rambo franchise, known for its bloody action films starring the titular character.
- "To Infinity and Beyond!" is Buzz Lightyear's famous catchphrase from the Toy Story film series, used whenever he's about to fly.
- "By Your Powers Combined" is Captain Planet's catchphrase, who is summoned whenever the Planeteers combine their elemental powers together through the use of special rings.
- "Petite Mort" is a French euphemism for orgasms.
- "We're Not in Kansas Anymore" is Dorothy's first sentence after arriving in a new world in The Wizard of Oz.
- "Oh the Places You'll Go" is the title of a book by Dr. Seuss about an unnamed protagonist travelling through several abstract landscapes and places.
